Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

1. What we collect

  • Account information: your email address, and your name if you sign in with Google.
  • Files you upload: the EPUB or PDF files you convert (see section 2 for how long we keep them).
  • Job details: book title, word count, voice choice, and job status, so your dashboard works.
  • Support messages: anything you send through the support form or by email.

We do not collect or store your payment card details; payments are handled entirely by Razorpay (see section 4).

2. How your files are handled

  • Uploaded EPUB/PDF files are stored on Cloudflare R2 and deleted immediately after text extraction.
  • Generated audiobooks are available to download for 48 hours, then permanently deleted from our servers.
  • During generation, your book's text is processed on cloud GPU infrastructure solely to produce the audio. It is not used to train any model and is not retained after the job completes.
  • We never read, share, sell, or analyze the contents of your books for any purpose other than producing your audiobook.

3. Emails we send

We send transactional email only: account verification, password reset, job completion or failure notices, payment receipts, and replies to your support requests. Email is delivered via Resend. We do not send marketing email and we do not share your address with anyone else.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by Razorpay. Your card, UPI, or banking details go directly to Razorpay and never touch LibriTalk's servers. We store only the payment reference needed to verify your purchase and issue your audiobook.

5. Analytics & tracking

  • Our landing page sends a single anonymous pageview ping to our own backend. It contains no personal information and no identifier.
  • We use no third-party analytics, no advertising trackers, and no tracking cookies.
  • To suggest the right currency, your browser makes a one-time lookup to ipapi.co that returns your approximate country. We store only the resulting currency preference (USD or INR) in your browser's localStorage, never your location.

6. Data stored in your browser

We use localStorage to keep you signed in (authentication tokens) and to remember your currency preference. Clearing your browser storage removes both.

7. Who we share data with

Only the service providers required to operate LibriTalk, each receiving the minimum needed:

  • Cloudflare R2: temporary file storage
  • Razorpay: payment processing
  • Resend: transactional email delivery
  • Google: only if you choose to sign in with Google
  • Cloud GPU providers: audio generation during your job

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

8. Deleting your data

Your files delete themselves on the schedule in section 2. To delete your account and the data associated with it, email support@libritalk.com or use the support form, and we will remove it.

9. Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you by email. Continued use of the Service after notification constitutes acceptance.
